12 Wild Nights
w/ Emily Sause
A Reflective Journaling Ritual
Together we’ll observe the 12 Wild Nights, the passage-way portal between two years. This is a potent time to go inwards, to reflect on the year that’s coming to a close, and look into the new year ahead. It’s a ripe time to sense into scope the scene for the coming year and connect deeply with the Spirits of nature and beyond.
First, we’ll gather on the 23rd of December to learn what these Wild Nights are really all about; their origin story, this tradition and its roots, and the significance of Solar & Lunar union. Then, we’ll begin the journaling ritual on December 24th. For the following twelve nights, we’ll explore guided prompts that correspond with each fertile night within this window of time. Prompts will include planetary and energetic correspondences, encouraging virtues to orient toward, with eclectic seeds of recommendations that will range from curated listenings and somatic exercises.
For each of the 12 nights, you’re encouraged to create a container for the journaling practice. This could look like anywhere from 5-15mins, or however long you feel! Let this be a gift you give yourself; the quietude of your own company, the potency of your inner reflection, and the magnetism of your keen foresight. Concluding on the 6th of January, having cultivated personal practice within a collective container.
Each of the nights are symbolic for the 12 months in the new year ahead, forecasting events and cultivating the corresponding energy (we'll dive more into these correspondences on our intro call).
About your Journey
-
Anyone who’d like to create a tradition or ritual for themselves around this time of year.
Anyone who wants to strengthen their relationship with themselves, who wants to cultivate a sense of completion as we close the year out.
Regardless of whether you have a journaling practice or not, this is a great way to cultivate your unique voice, unscripted.
Additionally, this is for anyone who feels challenged to create energetic boundaries within their family constellations around the holidays. This practice provides a structure around self care that is generative during the holiday season.
Anyone who believes that this period of time is an auspicious portal between two years, ripe for soul calibration and goal gestation.
Anyone who feels called to the integration of Solar & Lunar union.
-
Conclude the year with grounded grace. Strengthen your connection to your inner guidance system, and be aided in the energetic hygiene necessary to enter into the new year with a clean slate. Cultivate your relationship with yourself, amplifying self awareness and expression of what’s inside.
-
Steward a container for reflective writing during an auspicious time between two years, and provide a space for soul kin to gather during the holidays. This space will be designed for folks to feel supported in their practice of writing, reflection and contemplation, during a time that can oftentimes pull us outside of ourselves.
