Isabel Franco

After obtaining postgraduate degrees in elementary education and occupational therapy, I decided to endeavor deeper into holistic healing modalities to integrate into my professions and truly bring the practice back to its roots of mental health.

I integrate my experience and skills as an OT to address self awareness and reflection, while promoting personal growth and bringing community together. I specialize in pediatrics, and I passionately advocate for the mental and physical wellbeing of my clients. Bringing back mindfulness to educational settings and the community to truly address the importance of living a balanced life where play is as equally important as work.

I was born in Medellin, Colombia. My family and I immigrated to the USA in 1990 during a time when Colombia was considered the 2nd most dangerous country in the world, as it was going through the worst socio-political war in its history. From early on, I dreamed of a better world, one where humans, especially children could feel safe, secure and loved.

I am a self- empowering woman who harnesses heart-opening therapies, including ceremonial-grade cacao ceremonies, meditation, sound, therapeutic touch and conscious breath-work, as tools for personal transformation. My most cherished creations are my two sons, whom I guide in living harmoniously, with gratitude and purpose, fostering a path toward a brighter future for humanity.

Nicole Stratis

Nicole supports people in coming home to their bodies, the earth, and activating their own self-healing potential with the support of herbalism and embodiment. Her bodywork practice of abdominal massage, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, and yoga provide a doorway in for the herbs to lend their support both physically and energetically. Nicole continues to embrace the experience of tending the body as an offering to the tending of the earth. Cacao has found her in, and brought her to, true community, with a remembering of how to pray and how to listen deeply. She shares Cacao in community ceremonies as well as in 1:1 soul nourishment sessions and is grateful to be walking this ever-unfolding path with the devotion to continue listening and learning.

Krysten Vazquez

I am a holistic PA (physician assistant), clinical herbalist and sound healer who utilizes a multimodal approach that integrates frequency, sound, ancient wisdom, root-cause medicine and overarching wellness to help you heal and reconnect mind, body and spirit. I am passionate about equality, justice, protection of sacred spaces, music, herbalism, fitness and prioritizing self-care for optimal mental and physical overall well-being. I am weaving together the culmination of my continuing studies in Chinese medicine, indigenous wisdom, Western herbalism, sound healing and yoga to create spaces that feel safe, nurturing and allow people to remember their own power to heal themselves and remember where they come from. Cacao serves as a beautiful guide, in tandem with the Mayan cosmovision for helping people remember the meaning of powerful plant allies, humble and gentle teachers and the importance of gratitude. I found cacao through a ceremony space Florencia was holding at the Alchemist's Kitchen several years ago and haven't looked back since.
