Meet Pablo

Pablo was born in Mexico. He is mainly an Archaeologist of the Mayan culture, but he is also a teacher of Capoeira Angola (Afro-Brazilian dance) and a singer-songwriter of medicine music. In the field of Archeology, he is very dedicated to hieroglyphic writing and the use of Cacao. With the guidance of Mayan spiritual teachers, he has been initiated into the practice of the Mayan "vapor bath" and the use of the Tzolk'in calendar. Because of his alternative theories, he works outside the universities, promoting his work at conferences, workshops, and also on trips to the Mayan pyramids. In his words: "the mission is to awaken the human spirit through ancestral wisdom, seeking that the Mayan past make our present flouris

Pablo’s Wisdom

Workshops + Courses taught for Florecer Community

  1. Cacao in Ancient Mayan and Mesoamerican Times
a four week course meeting once a week discussing a variety of topics relating to the historical and sacred use of ceremonial cacao by the ancient Mayan, the Olmec, Zapotec, Teotihuacan, and the Tajín cultures. In this course Pablo also shares glyphs and archaeological evidence throughout history.

This is an incredible course for those who…

  • Want to develop ecological, social and spiritual commitments around Cacao

  • You want to deepen your relationship with Cacao, want to honor indigenous peoples and their ancestral knowledge and practices.

  • You want to learn about the rich history of Cacao, which not only includes the Mayan history, but also that of the Olmecs and all of Mesoamerica

  • You want to know how to support companies that are transparent and conscious around Cacao products

  • You are interested in having a cup of Cacao during the session, and learning about a magical story of pyramids, hieroglyphs and calendars

2. Spiritual Commitments Workshop + 4 Week Course

Pablo’s second course with Florecer which arrises from questions and topics that naturally bubbled during the Cacao in Ancient times course. Pablo realized that when talking about Cacao, we also had to talk about:

•How are we carrying out our spiritual path?

•Are we being professional and responsible?

•With what congruence and respect for life and energy are we building ourselves?

If we don't have a good foundation, the tools of spiritual awakening can be counterproductive. That is why it is also time to meet and reflect on our life paths with humility and maturity, to move towards better forms of spiritual empowerment.
